Michael Rubel
President and CEO

Mr. Rubel’s business experience has provided an extensive understanding of the challenges faced by middle market businesses. He has held management positions and had or currently has equity interests in businesses in such industries as aerospace and defense, apparel, manufacturing, distribution, and real estate. Mr. Rubel founded FTG to assist owners and management in executing transactions. He is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and attended the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey.

Al Rennett

Mr. Rennett has worked extensively within the apparel and textile industry and brings to Fuller Trident significant knowledge within this industry to assist business owners in executing transactions. During his apparel career, he worked at VF Corporation, Warnaco, Nike, Jockey International, and Nieman Marcus. His positions at these companies focused on manufacturing and sourcing, including Executive Vice President for Manufacturing & Operations and Global Director of Materials. Mr. Rennett graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology.

Dennis Maloney

Mr. Maloney worked extensively within the apparel industry and brings to Fuller Trident significant knowledge within this industry to assist business owners in executing transactions. His apparel career includes marketing positions at Jantzen, Blue Bell and VF Corporation. During his tenure with Jantzen, the company was acquired by Blue Bell, the maker of Wrangler products. As a key manager he was then involved in the leveraged buyout of Blue Bell by 50 of its key executives and the subsequent sale of the holding company to the VF Corporation. Mr. Maloney achieved the position of Vice President for the International division of Jantzen and assisted in the sale of the Jantzen brand by VF to the Perry Ellis company. Mr. Maloney earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Oregon.

Michael Harman

Mr. Harman's transactional experience includes partnerships, acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, and divestitures. He has held senior management positions at Freightliner, IBM and Consolidated Metro (ConMet). Mr. Harman partnered with two other Freightliner executives to purchase ConMet in a leveraged buy-out and grew revenue from $45 million to $70 million in three years while improving profitability. After selling the company, he continued with ConMet helping the company grow sales to $150 million. Mr. Harman is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy.

David Scott

Mr. Scott began his career with AM&S Europe , which was part of the Rio Tinto Mining group, with operations in the UK, Singapore and Saudi Arabia. He then became managing director for Kleeneze Holdings where he increased Enterprise Value sevenfold over a five (5) year period and then Yale Security, a $50M security device company with 600 employees.

"In the 1990's Mr. Scott became Divisional Managing Director at Newman Tonks PLC, an architectural hardware group, and an Operations Board Director. He had responsibility for 1000 employees and revenues of $80M. In1994 he joined Intelek PLC with initial responsibility for turning around the aerospace division and then full responsibility for the groups operations (aerospace and electronics). He was also a Main Board Director of the public company."

Mr. Scott is a graduate of Cambridge with an MA in Mechanical Sciences, followed by an MBA from the London Business School. He is a fellow of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers.

David Costine
Mr. Costine is currently the Managing Partner of Costine Partners LLC, an investment banking and venture advisory firm he founded in 2005. Prior to that time he was a General Partner of SC Capital Partners, LLC, an Orange County boutique investment banking and M&A firm he co-founded in 2002.

From 1988 to 2003, Mr. Costine was the Managing General Partner of Corporate Venture Partners, L.P., a $77 million venture capital fund he founded. Investors included Corning Inc, the NY State Employees Retirement Fund, Chase Manhattan Bank, Cornell University, and Niagra Mohawk Power Corporation. During the life of the fund, the General Partner invested in 15 early stage companies, eight of which became public on NASDAQ. The fund returned a 17.9% compound rate of return on invested capital during the period 1989 to 2003.

Prior to 1988, Mr. Costine was an officer of Venturtech Capital, LP, a venture capital fund with offices in Orange County, CA, and New Jersey. From 1970 to 1980, he was on Wall Street with Donaldson, Lufkin, and Jenrette and New Court Securities. Mr. Costine is currently on the Investment Board of the New York State Small Business Technology Fund and is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Cornell University Foundation.

Mr. Costine has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University and an MBA from Harvard University.

Charles Yesson
Mr. Yesson has over 35 years experience in the Financial Services Industry. This experience includes 25 years in managing public corporations and over 10 years as a consultant to emerging companies and as an interim manager of several of these companies.
